Simple Steps To Use Omichat

Omichat is an application that helps users manage all chat channels on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, etc. For example, users who connect to 2 exchanges, Shopee and Lazada, will have 2 corresponding chat windows from These 2 exchanges in 1 Omichat application.

To use Omichat you need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Download and install Omichat

Step 2: Create an account to log in Omichat

Step 3: Connect chat channels on e-commerce platforms to Omichat

Step 4: Reply to customer messages from e-commerce platforms right on the Omichat interface.

Here are detailed instructions on how to use Omichat

Download and install Omichat

Download Omichat software here. Note, currently Omichat only works on Windows computers.

After downloading, install Omichat according to the Omichat installation instructions

Create an account to log in Omichat

Omichat allows users to log in with their Boxme or Omisell accounts. Therefore, to be able to use Omichat, you need to have one of the above two types of accounts. If you already have 1 of these 2 accounts, please skip this step.

  • To create a Boxme account, follow the instructions to create a Boxme account here.
  • To create an Omisell account, go to this registration link and then enter the registration information as required.


Once you have a Boxme/Omisell account, you log in to Omichat with that account to be able to start using Omichat.

Connect chat channels on e-commerce platforms to Omichat

After logging in to Omichat, in the vertical column to the left of the interface, there is a “+” sign to add chat channels on exchanges to Omichat. Here select the chat channel the platform you want to connect to Omisell and then fill in the necessary information to connect.

Reply to customer messages from e-commerce platforms right on the Omichat interface

After connecting the chat channels on the e-commerce platform to Omichat, you just need to click on the connected Shops on Omichat and select the messages that need to be answered to support customers.

In Omichat’s message interface, you can search for messages or mark (read/unread), pin/unpin messages for better message management
